Nwanyanwu Discusses MKO Abiola's Presidential Aspirations

Dan Nwanyanwu, the national leader of the Zenith Labour Party (ZLP), discussed the motivations behind MKO Abiola's ambition to become the President of Nigeria. During an interview on Arise News' Prime Time program, Nwanyanwu recounted Abiola's emotional encounter while receiving treatment at a London hospital.

He stated that this experience led Abiola to pledge to build world-class hospitals in Nigeria and to encourage Nigerian doctors abroad to return home. Nwanyanwu lamented that funds intended for constructing standard hospitals in every state of Nigeria have been misappropriated.

He emphasized that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is aware of these issues, highlighting the ongoing challenges in Nigeria's healthcare system and the need for reform.
