Tinubu Appoints Prof. Segun Aina as JAMB Registrar

President Bola Tinubu has appointed Prof. Segun Aina as the new registrar of the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB).

Ibrahim Aliu commended this decision, highlighting Aina's qualifications as a 39-year-old scholar and expert in examination systems. The appointment aligns with Tinubu's administration's focus on merit and technocratic leadership, as seen in previous appointments like Mustapha Abdullahi as Director General of the Nigeria Energy Commission and Jennifer Adighij as Managing Director of the Niger Delta Power Holding Company.

Aliu noted that Aina's experience in academia and practical reform positions him uniquely to address JAMB's challenges, including examination security and digital transformation.
