Tinubu Appoints Masari as Special Adviser on Politics

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has officially appointed Alhaji Ibrahim Kabiru Masari as his Special Adviser on Political Affairs, as disclosed in a statement on Thursday. This appointment follows Masari's previous role as Senior Special Assistant, which he assumed in 2023.

Masari, a politician from Katsina, has also served as the Welfare Secretary of the All Progressives Congress during the tenure of former party chairman Adams Oshiomhole. In his new role, Masari will work alongside Alhaji Yau Darazo, who was appointed in July 2023.

Additionally, President Tinubu has approved the appointment of four new permanent secretaries to fill existing vacancies in the federal civil service. The newly appointed permanent secretaries include Warren Bekearedebo from Bayelsa State, Jone Nebo from Enugu State, Aminu Sani Yargaya from Kano State, and Shoretir Ayinda Kamil from Ogun State.

The appointments are part of the administration's commitment to meritocracy and professional excellence within the civil service.
