Tinubu Reacts as APC National Chairman's Mother Dies

President Bola Tinubu expressed his condolences to Professor Nentawe Yilwatda, the national chairman of the ruling Progressives Congress (APC), following the death of his mother, Mama Lydia Yilwatda, at the age of 83. Tinubu described Mama Lydia as a woman of virtue who dedicated her life to faith and community service.

He prayed for her soul to rest in peace and for strength for the Yilwatda family to bear the loss. The Kebbi government also extended condolences to the family of Alhaji Muhammad Sani Sami Goma II, a monarch who passed away in the UK after a brief illness.

Several Nigerians, including Prince Adeyemi Adedapo Nensilas and Ayorinde Kolawole, also expressed their sympathies. The nation mourns the loss of these respected individuals.
