Tinubu Reacts to Death of Rtd General Rabe Abubakar

President Bola Tinubu reacted with shock to the death of retired Major General Rabe Abubakar, as reported by Daily Post. Abubakar was abducted by bandits in Katsina State, where he was traveling to his hometown.

The incident occurred when armed men intercepted him. In a statement from the State House on Saturday, Tinubu described the situation as tragic and a reminder of the security challenges facing parts of the country.

He confirmed that Abubakar's wife was also taken by the kidnappers, which has intensified public concern regarding the ongoing security issues. Abubakar had a distinguished career in the Nigerian Army before his retirement a few years ago.
