Bola Tinubu Returns to Abuja After Aqaba Meeting in Rome for Counterterrorism Talks

Nigerian politician Bola Tinubu returned to Abuja after participating in the Aqaba Process meeting in Rome, co-chaired by King Abdullah II of Jordan. The meeting aimed to strengthen international collaboration in the fight against terrorism, with a special focus on West Africa.

Tinubu held bilateral meetings with leaders like Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni and discussed religious harmony in Nigeria with Vatican's Secretary of State Pietro Parolin. The Aqaba Process, initiated in 2015, convenes heads of state and experts to enhance counterterrorism efforts.
