Tinubu Calls for Patience as Reforms Progress in Nigeria

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu appealed to Nigerians for more time to complete the reforms and programs initiated by his administration. This appeal was conveyed by Tajudeen Abbas, the Speaker of the House of Representatives, during a special Juma’at prayer at the National Mosque in Abuja, part of the activities marking Nigeria's 66th Independence Anniversary.

Abbas communicated the President's message, emphasizing that the government is addressing challenges inherited from previous administrations and correcting accumulated mistakes. He encouraged citizens to maintain hope in the country's economic recovery, asserting that peace and development are returning.

Tinubu highlighted the significant sacrifices made by Nigerians and urged them to continue supporting his administration to finish its agenda. He reassured citizens that Nigeria is on the right path and that improvements will come through the ongoing reforms.

The 66th Independence Anniversary is being observed with low-key religious and civic engagements.
