Tinubu Unbeatable, Even Jonathan Can’t Win in 2027 – Presidency

The Presidency has declared that Nigerian politician, including former President Goodluck Jonathan, would not be able to defeat President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the 2027 general election. Daniel Bwala, Special Adviser to the President on Policy Communication, made this assertion during an appearance on Channels Television's Politics Today.

Bwala dismissed the idea of Jonathan contesting in 2027 as politically unrealistic and potentially damaging to the former leader's legacy. He also questioned the sincerity of northern political figures backing Jonathan's possible return to politics.

Bwala emphasized that Tinubu's political standing remains unmatched, regardless of any opposition. He stated that no single politician in Nigeria today has the capacity to defeat Tinubu, who is expected to seek a final term in 2027.
