Tinubu Launches Platform to Connect Entrepreneurs and Policymakers

On Thursday, President Bola Tinubu launched a new digital platform designed to connect policymakers with entrepreneurs, addressing the longstanding disconnect between policy formulation and the realities faced by businesses in Nigeria. The initiative, part of the Renew Hope agenda, aims to create a responsive and business-friendly environment in the country.

Chief of Staff Femi Gbajabiamila emphasized the platform's role in facilitating continuous engagement between the government and the private sector. Tinubu acknowledged the existing disconnect and noted that policies must reflect the daily challenges businesses encounter.

The platform will serve as a feedback loop, allowing entrepreneurs to share insights and challenges directly with the government, thereby improving policy design and implementation. Minister of Arts and Culture, Hannatu Musa Musawa, highlighted the potential of the creative digital sector to drive economic growth and attract foreign investment.

Senior Special Assistant to the President on Entrepreneurship Development, Chalya Shagaya, reiterated the administration's commitment to placing entrepreneurs at the center of Nigeria's economic growth.
