Tinubu and Uzodinma Warn Pilgrims Against Absconding During Holy Trips

President Bola Tinubu, Governor Hope Uzodinma, and others cautioned Nigerian Christian pilgrims against absconding during their trips to Israel and Jordan. The Executive Secretary of the Nigeria Christian Pilgrim Commission, Rt Rev Stephen Adegbite, emphasized the importance of patriotism and dignity during the pilgrimage.

Strict measures have been put in place to prevent abscondment, with fewer pilgrims participating this year. Tinubu highlighted the spiritual significance of the pilgrimage and urged pilgrims to return home with a positive experience.

The administration's support for Christian and Muslim pilgrimages was also emphasized during the flag-off ceremony at the Sam Mbakwe International Cargo Airport in Owerri, Imo State.
