Tinubu will win landslide in 2027 because of economic reforms – Minister predicts

Minister of State for Labour, Hon Nkeiruka Onyejeocha, has predicted that President Bola Tinubu will secure a landslide victory in the 2027 elections due to his economic reforms. Dismissing concerns raised by the newly formed African Democratic Congress (ADC) coalition, Onyejeocha emphasized that Tinubu deserves a mandate to consolidate the achievements in economic reform and governance during his tenure.

Speaking at the 18th annual free medical and surgical outreach in Abia state, the minister highlighted Tinubu's global recognition for his economic policies, including praise from the World Trade Organization (WTO). Onyejeocha also commended the administration for fostering industrial harmony and addressing labor concerns, noting that the government's engagement with labor has ensured industrial peace.

The medical outreach, which was initially scheduled for a specific number of surgeries, was extended due to high turnout, with over 200 surgeries performed to treat patients in need.
