Bola Tinubu Requests Senate Confirmation of New Service Chiefs in Nigeria

Former Lagos State Governor and political leader, Bola Tinubu, has formally written to the Nigerian Senate requesting the confirmation of the recent appointments of new Service Chiefs. The letter was read on the Senate floor by Senate President Godswil Akpabio.

The nominated Service Chiefs include General Olufemi Oluyede, Major General Waheedi Shaibu, Rear Admiral Idi Abba, Air Vice Marshal Kennedy Anek, and Major General Emmanuel Undiendey. This move follows the decision to relieve the immediate past Service Chiefs of their duties, signifying a significant change in the country's military leadership.
