Tinubu's Aide Praises Olamide's Political Track "Burukutu
Dada Olusegun, the social media aide to President Bola Tinubu, reacted to Olamide's latest song "Burukutu," which incorporates a sample of one of the president's recognizable audio moments. The song sparked widespread discussion after its release on Thursday, October 22.
Political commentator JJ Omojuwa celebrated the track on social media, describing it as a collaboration with "Jagaban" and highlighting its "culturally rich and layered" nature. Olusegun amplified Omojuwa's post, using the hashtag #TheDealIsDone and fire emojis, indicating official approval of the cultural significance of the song.
The track features Tinubu's well-known "enjoy your weekend" remark, adding a political flavor to what could have been a straightforward street rap record. "Burukutu" is part of Olamide's upcoming album "Time And Space," suggesting that this release is a preview of more content to come from the artist.
