Shagari Praises Tinubu's Policies for Reviving Governance and Restoring Hope in Nigeria

Alhaji Muntari Shagari, the former Deputy Governor of Sokoto State, commended Bola Tinubu's policies for rejuvenating governance and uplifting the hopes of Nigerians. Shagari, who is also the current Board Chairman of the National Inland Waterways Authority (NIWA), highlighted Tinubu's economic strategies as bold and transformative, addressing deep-rooted structural challenges.

He praised Tinubu's efforts in stabilizing the economy, leading to a gradual drop in food prices and essential commodities, thus easing the financial burden on citizens. Shagari also lauded Tinubu's support for the establishment of the Dangote Refinery, emphasizing its significance in Nigeria's journey towards energy security and economic independence.

Additionally, the appointment of retired Army General Christoph Musa as Minister of Defence was noted for its focus on strengthening the fight against insecurity and terrorism in the country. Shagari urged Nigerians to remain patient and supportive of the ongoing reforms under Tinubu's leadership to achieve a prosperous and united nation.
