Tinubu's Agenda Transforms Policies into Economic Opportunities

On Tuesday, Minister of Information and National Orientation, Mohammed Idris, articulated that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda is effectively translating bold policies into tangible projects, jobs, and economic opportunities throughout Nigeria. This statement was made during the Presidential Media Team Tour at the National Agency for Science and Engineering Infrastructure (NASENI) headquarters in Abuja.

Idris emphasized the importance of transparency and accountability, stating that the tour aims to provide Nigerians with firsthand access to government initiatives. He described NASENI as crucial for Nigeria’s industrial transformation through science and technology, focusing on local manufacturing, renewable energy, and skills development.

Idris highlighted the agenda's focus on industrialization and youth empowerment, aiming to shift Nigeria from a consumer to a producer economy. Khalil Suleiman Halilu, Executive Vice Chairman and CEO of NASENI, noted the agency's commitment to a practical industrialization strategy that encompasses local manufacturing and technology transfer across eight key industrial sectors.
