Tiwa Savage Accepts Teni's ₦1.5 Billion Boxing Challenge

Tiwa Savage has accepted a boxing challenge from fellow singer Teniola Atinuke Apata, known as Teni, after Teni called her out in a viral video posted on October 2. Teni proposed a fight purse of ₦1.5 billion, joking about her anger in the ring and stating she wouldn't even look at Tiwa's son, Jamil, during the fight.

Tiwa responded in the comments with "Pick a date," which many fans interpreted as a sign of willingness to engage in the challenge. Teni's playful remarks included a promise to sing "My Darling" for Tiwa after the fight.

Despite the humorous nature of the exchange, no promoter, contract, or official fight date has been announced, leaving the situation lighthearted for now. This banter follows a recent celebrity boxing match where Big Brother Naija winner Phyna knocked out actress Nkechi Blessing in Lagos on October 1, part of Balmoral Group Promotions’ Chaos in the Ring series.
