Tiwa Savage Accepts Teni's Playful Boxing Challenge

Nigerian singer Teni issued a lighthearted boxing challenge to her senior colleague Tiwa Savage in a video posted on October 2. Teni outlined her case for a celebrity boxing match, including a humorous financial breakdown and a promise to perform a love song for Tiwa after the fight.

The playful challenge gained traction online, especially after Tiwa responded directly in the comments with "Pick a date," which many fans interpreted as an unofficial confirmation of their willingness to consider the match. This exchange follows a recent celebrity boxing event involving reality star Phyna and actress Nkechi Blessing, indicating a growing interest in celebrity bouts in Nigeria.

While it remains uncertain whether this playful rivalry will evolve into an actual event, the engagement between Teni and Tiwa has certainly captured the attention of their fans.
