Tobi Amusan Soars to World No. 3, Nigerian Athletics Shines Globally

Nigerian athlete Tobi Amusan has risen to World No. 3, becoming the country's highest-ranked athlete. Amusan's silver medal at the World Championships in Tokyo propelled her to third place globally in her event, trailing behind Grace Stark of the United States and Ditaji Kambundji of Switzerland.

Her impressive performance also elevated her to 28th place overall in global women's rankings. Another Nigerian athlete, Ezekiel Nathaniel, has made significant strides in the 400m hurdles, climbing to 15th place globally.

Chukwuebuka Enekwechi also achieved a milestone by finishing fifth in shot put. These achievements mark a significant success for Nigerian athletics on the international stage.
