The founder of the Spiritual Head Inri Evangelical Spiritual Church in Lagos, Babatunde Elijah Ayodel, released prophecies for 2026, including a prediction that President Tinubu will sack ministers. The cleric has been embroiled in controversy, with allegations of an extortion attempt involving Bayo Adelabu, a chieftain of the APC and governor of Oyo State.

Despite denials, the cleric's media aide, Osho Oluwatosin, clarified the situation. The prophecies were detailed in a 146-page document released to the media.
