Nigerian footballer Chukwueze is mourning the loss of his mother, as confirmed by his brother David Chukwueze in an emotional Instagram post. Chukwueze, currently on loan at AC Milan from English Premier League side Fulham, expressed his sorrow at the sudden loss.

This tragedy comes amidst a wave of grief in Nigerian football, with Super Eagles captain Wilfred Ndidi having recently lost his father in a fatal road accident.
