Julian Alvarez, currently playing for Atletico Madrid, has been linked with a potential move to Arsenal, which is considered the only realistic option for him this summer. Reports indicate that Barcelona made an open bid of €86.4 million for Alvarez, which Atletico Madrid rejected.

The situation remains stagnant as Atletico Madrid, under the management of Diego Simeone, is confident that Alvarez will continue with the club beyond the summer transfer window. Alvarez joined Atletico Madrid from Manchester City for €81.5 million two years ago.

As of now, it remains unclear whether the 26-year-old striker will leave Atletico Madrid for a new club this summer.
