Arsenal Signs Misa Rodriguez from Real Madrid

Arsenal has completed the signing of Misa Rodriguez, the 27-year-old goalkeeper and captain of Real Madrid, following the expiration of her contract. Rodriguez, who made 215 appearances for Real Madrid and earned 24 caps for the Spanish national team, will enhance Arsenal's goalkeeping options, which currently include Daphne Van Domselaar, Anneke Borbe, and Isabella Damm.

This transfer marks Arsenal's seventh signing during a busy summer transfer window, which has also seen the arrivals of Georgia Stanway, Geraldine Reuteler, Selina Cerci, Ona Batlle, and Lisa Baum. Notably, Rodriguez is the fifth player to join Arsenal on a free transfer this summer, alongside Stanway, Batlle, Cerci, and Reuteler.
