Chelsea FC Signs Landon Emenalo to Long-Term Contract

Chelsea FC has confirmed the signing of Landon Emenalo, the son of former Nigerian international left-back Michael Emenalo. The club announced that Landon has signed a new long-term contract, ensuring his stay at Chelsea until at least the end of the 2030-2031 season.

Landon Emenalo, who is eligible to play for the United States, Nigeria, and England at the senior level, joined Chelsea's academy at the U8 level and has progressed through various age groups, including a stint at Monaco before returning to Chelsea at the U13 level. At 18 years old, he is part of Chelsea's intake for the scholar program for the 2024-2025 season and is set to sign his first professional contract in January 2025.

He has participated in several competitions, including the U18 Premier League and the UEFA Youth League, and has received three call-ups for official matches, although he has not yet made his senior debut.
