Osimhen Maintains €75M Value Despite World Cup Absence

Victor Osimhen, the Super Eagles forward, has retained his status among the most valuable footballers globally, with a market value of €75 million, despite Nigeria's failure to qualify for the 2026 FIFA World Cup. Osimhen plays for Galatasaray and has been a key player since joining the club, scoring 59 goals and providing 16 assists in 74 matches across all competitions.

His performance has significantly contributed to Galatasaray's domestic successes. Unfortunately, Osimhen was injured during the African play-offs, preventing him from helping Nigeria secure a spot in the World Cup, where they were eliminated by the Democratic Republic of Congo after a penalty shootout.

Following the World Cup, Transfermarkt released its latest market value update, which showed that Osimhen's valuation remained stable, placing him among the top 55 most valuable players worldwide. He is the only player from the Turkish Super Lig included in this list.
