Cristiano Ronaldo's €50M Release Clause Revealed Amid Al Nassr Uncertainty

Cristiano Ronaldo, the forward for Al Nassr, has a reported release clause of €50 million in his current contract. Ronaldo, who did not play in the recent Saudi Pro League fixture against Al Riyadh, is contemplating leaving the club in June.

The Portuguese captain is reportedly unhappy with how Al Nassr, which has been acquired by the Saudi sovereign wealth fund PIF, is being managed. PIF's ownership of Al Nassr, Al Hilal, Al Ittihad, and Al Ahli until 2023 has led to concerns that the fund is preventing Al Nassr from strengthening its squad to compete for titles.

Ronaldo is considering options that include a move to the Major League Soccer or a return to Europe.
