Troops Arrest Bandit with Firearms in Plateau State, Nigeria - Operation Enduring Peace Update

Troops from the 3 Task Force Operation Enduring Peace in Plateau State, Nigeria, arrested a bandit in possession of a rifle, a magazine, and special ammunition in Kaskra Ropp District, Barkin Ladi LGA. The arrest followed a distress call about a militia movement towards Fann District.

The bandit was allegedly planning an attack on the community. The suspect is in custody for interrogation to gather more information to aid the operation.

The troops are on a mission to arrest other fleeing bandits and recover weapons to ensure peace and security in the area. Major Samson Zhakom confirmed the commitment of the troops to end attacks on innocent civilians in the region.
