Truck Accident in Lagos Claims 3 University Students' Lives

A tragic truck accident in Lagos resulted in the deaths of 3 university students and injuries to many others. The incident occurred in Ikorodu when a sand-laden truck lost control due to brake failure, colliding with multiple vehicles and a tricycle.

Lastma spokesperson Adebayo Taofiq confirmed the accident, with injured victims rushed to nearby hospitals. The wrecked vehicles were removed to restore traffic flow.

Lastma's General Manager, Olalekan Bakar Oki, expressed sadness over the avoidable crash and urged commercial truck operators to maintain their vehicles and avoid overspeeding.
