Duane Davis Found Guilty in Tupac Shakur Murder Case

On August 31, 2026, Duane "Keffe D" Davis was found guilty by a jury of murder with the use of a deadly weapon and with the intent to promote, further, or assist a criminal gang, in connection with the 1996 murder of rapper Tupac Shakur in Las Vegas. Davis, 63, did not personally fire the weapon that killed Shakur during the drive-by shooting on September 7, 1996; instead, prosecutors alleged that the gunman was either his nephew, Orlando "Baby Lane" Anderson, or another individual in the vehicle.
