Nigerian Stars Miss Out at Grammys 2026 as Tyla Clinches African Music Honor

The Grammy Awards 2026 saw Nigerian artists like Ayra Starr, Davido, Wizkid, Burna Boy, and Omah Lay missing out on awards, with South African musician Tyla emerging victorious in the Best African Music Performance category. Tyla's win added to her growing Grammy success, following her 2024 victory. Burna Boy was nominated in the Best Global Music Album category but lost to Youssou N'Dour.
