Kashim Shettima Accuses Uba Sani of Turning Kaduna State Into One-Party System

Former Borno State Governor, Kashim Shettima, has accused Uba Sani, the Governor of Kaduna State, of transforming the state into a one-party system. Shettima commended Sani's inclusive leadership style during a commissioning event for the Tudun Biri resettlement scheme.

He praised Sani for expanding the APC's political reach across Kaduna State, following significant losses suffered by the party in the 2023 general elections. Shettima noted the conscious efforts made by Governor Sani, the APC leader, to attract prominent opposition figures to the party, including recent defections from the PDP in Southern Kaduna.

The Vice President also attributed the defections to Governor Sani's leadership style, which has fostered trust across political divides in the region.
