Ubi Franklin Debunks Rumours Of ‘Stealing Watch’ At Davido’s Wedding

Music executive and talent manager Ubi Franklin has debunked rumors of stealing a luxury wristwatch at Davido and Chioma Adeleke's lavish wedding in Miami. A blog alleged that Ubi had left the event with a watch belonging to someone else, but Ubi clarified that the story was completely false and misleading.

He explained that a Miami jeweler named Benny had offered to sell him a watch, which he checked and decided to buy to avoid any issues. After the church service, Benny sent another watch to Ubi's brother, which Ubi had also purchased and paid for in full.

Ubi emphasized that he had never stolen anything in his life and that the allegations were baseless. The wedding, dubbed Chivido2025, took place in Miami on August 10 and attracted friends, family, and celebrities from Nigeria and abroad.
