Galatasaray fans have received a ban from attending the UEFA Champions League Round of 16 match against Liverpool, which is scheduled for March 18. This sanction follows incidents of crowd trouble during a recent playoff fixture against Juventus in Turin.

The UEFA disciplinary committee has imposed a €40,000 fine on Galatasaray and mandated that the club play their next away match without supporters. The club's appeal against this decision was rejected by the appeal body, confirming the enforcement of the ban.

Galatasaray secured their place in the last 16 of the tournament with a 7-5 aggregate victory over Juventus.
