Thierry Henry Reflects on Arsenal's 2006 UCL Final Loss

Thierry Henry, the former captain of Arsenal, revealed that he still experiences nightmares about the club's defeat in the 2006 UEFA Champions League final against Barcelona. In that match, held in Paris, Arsenal initially took a 1-0 lead with a header from Sol Campbell.

However, the situation worsened when Arsenal's goalkeeper, Jens Lehmann, received a red card for a last-man tackle, leaving the team with ten men. Barcelona capitalized on this advantage, scoring two late goals from Samuel Eto'o and Juliano Belletti, ultimately winning the match 2-1.

Henry spoke about this painful memory during an interview with CB Sport on Wednesday, stating that he finds it difficult to digest the loss and hopes not to experience such a defeat again.
