Arne Slot Explains Salah's Bench Role in PSG Loss

Slot explained that he wanted to avoid having Salah spend the last minutes defending in his own box, which he believed would not provide a chance for Salah to score. He mentioned that it was better to save Salah's energy for the upcoming matches, as he could potentially contribute more effectively in the last 20 to 25 minutes of the game.

The match saw PSG score in both halves, and Liverpool now needs to score at least one goal in the return leg to have a chance of advancing in the tournament.
