UEFA Super Cup: How Much PSG Earned After Beating Tottenham on Penalties

Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) earned a significant financial reward after defeating Tottenham Hotspur in the 2025 UEFA Super Cup at Stadio Friuli Udine. The match saw PSG take the lead but Tottenham staged a late fightback with goals from Micky van de Ven and Cristian Romero.

However, PSG managed to secure victory in a penalty shootout, with Lee Goncalo Ramos scoring the decisive spot-kick. PSG's new goalkeeper, Lucas Chevalier, played a crucial role in the shootout by saving a penalty from van de Ven.

The win earned PSG an additional €5 million, adding to their successful season, which included five trophies. Tottenham's manager, Thomas Frank, praised his team's effort and individual talent despite the loss, as they now shift their focus to the upcoming season.
