UEFA Appoints Referees for 2026 Finals in Europe

UEFA has confirmed the appointments of referees for the finals of the Champions League, Europa League, and Conference League, all scheduled for May 2026. German referee Siebert, who previously officiated the second leg of Arsenal's Champions League semi-final against Atletico Madrid, will oversee the Champions League final featuring Arsenal and defending champions PSG.

The Europa League final will be officiated by French referee Francois Letexi, who has previously refereed the Euro 2024 final. Letexi will manage the match between Freiburg and Aston Villa on May 20, 2026.

The Conference League final, set for a week later, will be overseen by Italian referee Maurizio Mariani, who will officiate the match between Crystal Palace and Rayo Vallecano. Additionally, Swedish referee Tess Olofsson has been appointed to officiate the Women's Champions League final between Barcelona and Olympique Lyonnais on May 23, 2026.
