This incident was not the first time Carter Efe faced such a setback. On the same day, an old video of Peller surfaced, showing him urging his followers to mass-report Carter Efe's account during a public feud.

Instead of denying the accusations, Peller acknowledged the claims but redirected the conversation to explicit behavior during livestreams that he believed would have led to TikTok's actions regardless. His response was interpreted by many as indifference.
