UNICEF Urges Immediate Release of 25 Abducted Schoolgirls in Kebbi State

UNICEF has called on the Nigerian government to act swiftly in securing the freedom of 25 schoolgirls abducted during the latest attack in Kebbi State. The incident, which resulted in the death of a school's vice principal and abduction of students, has raised concerns about the safety of schools in the region.

Susan Akila of UNICEF strongly condemned the attack and highlighted the need to protect children and school personnel. The agency demanded the quick rescue and release of the abducted girls, urging authorities to ensure accountability for such attacks.
