United Airlines provided an update on the mid-air altercation between Nigerian comedian Mr Jollof and social media activist VDM, expressing that both parties have apologized. The incident, which led to a flight delay at Asaba International Airport, drew widespread attention on social media.

Mr Jollof and VDM recounted their sides of the story and sought forgiveness from the airline and affected passengers. United Airlines emphasized passenger safety protocols and mentioned that the Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) is involved in the matter.
