Azeez Scores Twice in Super Eagles' Semi-Final Win

Femi Azeez made an impressive debut for the Super Eagles, scoring two goals in a 2-0 victory against Zimbabwe in the Unity Cup semi-final held in London. Azeez, who plays for Millwall, was one of 12 debutants in the match.

Nigeria's goalkeeper, Arthur Okonkwo, started in goal, supported by a defensive duo of Chibuez Oputa and Kenneth Igbok. Terem Moffi, a 2023 AFCON silver medallist, captained the side.

Azeez opened the scoring with a low left-footed strike after receiving a pass from Moffi. He later doubled Nigeria's lead with another goal following a swift counterattack.

Despite Zimbabwe's attempts to pressure Nigeria's defense, the Super Eagles held on to secure their place in the final, scheduled for March 30, against the winner of the Jamaica vs. India semi-final.
