Tinubu and Fubara Meet at Villa to Discuss Rivers State Development

President Bola Tinubu met with Rivers State Governor Siminalayi Fubara at the Presidential Villa in Abuja. This meeting marked the first engagement between the two since the lifting of the emergency rule in Rivers State.

Fubara, dressed in a white kaftan and black cap, declared that peace had been made with his predecessor, Minister of the Federal Capital Territory Nyesom Wike. Tinubu's visit aimed to guide governance in the state without crisis.

Fubara resumed his duties after the suspension was lifted on September 17. The meeting focused on working together for the development of Rivers State.
