UPDC REIT Announces Final Distribution for FY 2025

UPDC Real Estate Investment Trust has disclosed a final distribution of ₦0.33k per unit for the financial year ended 31 December 2025, subject to withholding tax and formal approval. The announcement sets a qualification date of Friday, 17 April 2026, meaning only unitholders on the register as of close of business that day will be eligible to receive the distribution.

The register of unitholders will subsequently be closed from 20 April to 24 April 2026, and payment will be made electronically on 6 May 2026 to unitholders who have completed e-distribution registration with First Registrars & Investors Services. The fact that UPDC REIT is sustaining distributions signals ongoing income generation from its underlying real estate assets, a core expectation for any REIT product.

However, investors yet to complete e-distribution mandate registration risk delayed payments, as electronic settlement is the sole disbursement channel. A General Meeting is also scheduled for 6 May 2026, coinciding with the payment date, which may yield further disclosures on the trust's asset performance and strategy.

Retail investors should prioritise confirming their registration status with First Registrars before the 17 April qualification date to avoid missing this distribution.
