U.S. Urges Citizens to Leave Middle Eastern Nations

The U.S. Department of State has urgently recommended that American citizens leave a number of Middle Eastern countries, including Israel, due to serious safety risks stemming from military escalations in the region.

This advisory was communicated through social media by Assistant Secretary Mora Namdar, who listed the countries affected, which include Israel, the occupied West Bank, Gaza Strip, Iran, Lebanon, Bahrain, Egypt, Iraq, Jordan, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Syria, the United Arab Emirates, and Yemen. The advisory follows a large-scale offensive launched by Israel against Iran, which occurred on Saturday and has contributed to rising tensions in the area.

The U.S. government has indicated that commercial transport options are still available for citizens wishing to depart these countries.
