U.S. Offers $10M Reward for Info on Iran's Khamenei

This reward is part of the State Department's Reward for Justice program, which seeks information on individuals described as Iranian terrorist leaders. The poster released includes names such as Esmail Khatib, Iran's Minister of Intelligence, and Ali Asghar Hejazi, Deputy Chief of Staff to the Supreme Leader.

The announcement follows a significant leadership change in Iran after Khamenei succeeded his father, Ali Khamenei, who passed away during the ongoing conflict between Iran and the U.S.-Israel coalition. Khamenei, 56, has vowed to continue retaliatory actions against perceived enemies, warning that the conflict will persist until justice is achieved for Iranian casualties.

The U.S. has heightened its military presence in the region, and the announcement of the reward reflects escalating tensions following Khamenei's appointment on March 8.
