The resolution cites reports of mass murders, rapes, and kidnappings targeting Nigerian Christians and non-Fulani Muslims. It also mentions testimonies from religious leaders like Father Remigiu Iyohula and Bishop Wilfr Anagb.

The move aims to hold the Nigerian government accountable for religious persecution.
