US Revokes Wole Soyinka's Visa Over Criticism of Trump

The US has revoked the visa of Nigerian professor and Nobel laureate, Wole Soyinka, after he criticized President Donald Trump's policies. Soyinka received the revocation letter during a public event in Lagos.

He highlighted the need for global citizens to speak out against racism and injustice. Soyinka had previously torn his US green card in protest of Trump's election victory in 2016.

The decision to revoke his visa is seen as a response to his long-standing criticism of Trump's administration.
