DHS Targets 125 Individuals for Deportation from Africa

The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has announced its intention to deport 125 individuals from five African countries, specifically Kenya, Ghana, South Africa, Morocco, and Mauritania. The DHS published the names and photographs of these individuals on its official website, with Kenya having the largest number at 49 individuals, followed by Ghana with 44, Mauritania with 12, Morocco with 11, and South Africa with 9.

This action is part of a broader immigration enforcement strategy that has intensified in recent months. The DHS aims to increase transparency by allowing the public to view the details of those earmarked for deportation.

Additionally, the DHS has previously released information about 10 Nigerian nationals facing deportation, who are currently held in detention facilities across various American states, facing charges such as wire fraud, identity theft, drug offenses, child cruelty, and weapons possession.
