Usyk Backs Joshua for Fury Fight, Shares Training Insights

Oleksandr Usyk, the heavyweight boxing champion, has expressed his support for Anthony Joshua in his anticipated fight against Tyson Fury. Usyk, who has built a close working relationship with Joshua while training in Spain, shared his belief that Joshua can win against Fury, whom he described as an "unbelievable fighter." Usyk noted that Joshua's unique challenges in facing Fury will aid in his preparation, focusing on strategy and psychological aspects.

Joshua is set to return to the ring on July 25 against Kristian Prenga in Riyadh, with a highly anticipated clash against Fury expected later in the year. Usyk, who is preparing to defend his WBC title against Rico Verhoeven in Egypt on May 23, plans to continue assisting Joshua in his training.

He also empathized with Joshua's personal struggles following a fatal car crash that claimed the lives of two of his friends, drawing parallels to his own experiences of loss amid the ongoing conflict in Ukraine.
