Uzodimma Appoints Directors for Renewed Hope Agenda

On a Saturday announcement, Governor Hope Uzodimma of Imo State named several key figures to the Renewed Hope Agenda, a strategic initiative aimed at bolstering the administration's outreach and effectiveness as Nigeria approaches the 2027 elections. Among the notable appointments is Olisa Metuh, a former spokesperson for the People Democratic Party, who will serve as the lead director.

Other appointees include Sunday Dare, the former Minister of Sports, who will oversee digital new media, and Abike Dabiri-Erewa, who will focus on diaspora affairs. The list also features Mustapha Abdullahi for youth mobilization, Tund Rahman for media and public relations, and Muiz Banir for compliance monitoring.

The Renewed Hope Agenda is designed to disseminate activities and achievements of the administration, with the goal of enhancing the campaign efforts leading up to the presidential elections scheduled for November 2025.
