Governor Uzodimma Urges River Basin Authority for Impactful Projects in Imo

Governor Hope Uzodimma urged the River Basin Development Authority to focus on impactful projects that directly benefit communities in Imo State. During a meeting with the Authority's delegation, led by Chairman Senator Emma Anosike, Uzodimma emphasized the need for visible results in irrigation projects and improved farming systems.

The Governor pledged the support of the Imo State Government to boost agriculture, manage water resources sustainably, and stimulate regional development. Uzodimma highlighted the critical role of River Basin Development Authorities in national growth and called for a shift from bureaucratic processes to accelerated implementation for lasting impacts on farmers, rural communities, and industries dependent on water and land resources.
